By placing an order or otherwise using this website, you agree to the terms below. Doolittle’s Bakery is a licensed commercial bakery based in Wilmington, NC. This website is built and maintained by Gold Hive Management LLC as a service provider to Doolittle’s Bakery — Gold Hive is not a party to any order placed through the site.
Ordering & payment
Every item is made to order. Prices are as listed on the site at the time you order. Payment is processed securely through Square at checkout. NC sales tax (7%, New Hanover County) is added to your order and delivery fee.
Credit card orders have a card processing fee (up to 4% of your order) added to help cover payment processing costs. Debit card orders are not charged this fee. The exact fee and total are shown on screen before your card is charged, and nothing is charged until you confirm it.
Delivery orders have a flat $10 delivery fee, waived on orders over $100. Deliveries are made by Doolittle’s Bakery directly, not a third-party courier.
Cancellations & changes
Because everything is baked to order, please reach out by phone or text as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order. Whether a refund is possible depends on how much preparation has already gone into your order by the time you reach out, and is at Doolittle’s Bakery’s discretion.
Pickup & delivery
You can choose pickup or delivery at checkout. Your pickup or delivery date and time are coordinated by phone or text after you order.
Allergen notice
Doolittle’s Bakery’s kitchen bakes with wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, and other common allergens, and cannot guarantee any item is free of allergens or cross-contact. If you have a food allergy, please let us know before ordering — ordering is at your own risk with respect to allergens.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doolittle’s Bakery’s liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Doolittle’s Bakery and Gold Hive Management LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your order or use of this site.
Website & payment processing
This website is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted availability. Payments are processed by Square, Inc.; Doolittle’s Bakery and Gold Hive Management LLC are not responsible for outages, errors, or other issues on Square’s platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use this site or place orders after a change means you accept the updated terms.
